Wirescan is pleased to announce the signing of a development agreement with a major oil company based in Houston, TX. The development is scheduled to be done over the next 18 months, and includes extensive testing of LIRA at the company’s facilities in Houston, together with development of customized LIRA software for a specific application. “This development agreement is yet another major step for LIRA cable condition assessment system” says Geir Westgaard, Product Development Manager at Wirescan. “It proves that the LIRA software can be used as base software for a number of different applications in the cable monitoring sector.
