Wirescan and FMC Brazil have extended their twelve months cooperation agreement for another twenty-four months towards the Brazilian offshore market. "The work has just begun "says Vidar Bergli, VP Sales at Wirescan", "and the extension of our agreement with FMC Brazil will strongly support our continuous work to grow our business for cable condition assessment and cable fault location offshore Brazil".

Under the agreement, Wirescan and FMC will work towards the oil majors operating offshore Brazil, where FMC has several maintenance contracts for the cables, umbilicals and the subsea equipment in operation. Wirescan will support FMC in the monitoring and condition assessment of the critical cables and umbilicals providing electricity to and control of the subsea equipment.
