Wirescan is heading for growth and is planning to increase the R&D staff and the field engineer team. Wirescan has over the last few years developed a new technology for cable diagnostic and cable monitoring. We are currently focusing on market penetration and product enhancement and need to strengthen our organization. We are looking for persons with an engineering degree and skills and experience within cable technology, instrumentation or signal processing.
 
By joining Wirescan you will be part of a small team where every member is important for the success of the company. We are working in an international market serving recognized customers in industries like oil & gas, power distribution and transmission, nuclear power plants, wind farms, process industries and cable manufacturers. We are also working closely with Norwegian research institutes.
 
Wirescan is owned by Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) and Norwegian venture companies, and is planning to add an industrial shareholder in early 2010.
 
The field engineers may be located in a planned office in Bergen, all other positions are within our office in Halden.
